What is a ground floor or first floor storage unit?
A ground floor storage unit makes it easier to access and does not require the use of an elevator. However, the convenience of a first floor storage unit usually comes with a cost, and are typically more expensive.
What is elevator access or a upper floor storage unit?
An elevator access storage unit makes it a little more difficult to load and unload your storage unit and requires the use of an elevator or stair case. However, a upper floor storage unit typically will be less expensive.
What is a storage locker?
A storage locker has a reduced ceiling height between 4 to 6 feet. These storage units are good for storing small items; like suit cases, small household items, school and dormitory items, office supplies or holiday decorations. Storage lockers are usually less expensive than other units and could be the ground floor or accessed with a rolling ladder.
What is an onsite storage manager?
The manager of the storage facility actually lives in an apartment that is typically attached to the storage facility. The storage unit tenants get a feeling of security, knowing that a manager is nearby to address emergency matters or other matters that could occur after hours.
What is extended hours?
Usually storage facility office hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Extended hours could be from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm or even 24 hours a day, giving storage tenants more access to their storage unit.
What is keypad access?
A keypad entrance storage facility will control who enters and exits the facility. The tenant is provided a personal gate code and prevents non renters from entering the gated property.

nice place to store your stuff great customer service
Very satisfied with the overall experience and the customer service. The only issue I ever had was that the gates would not work from time to time but we were able to work around that.
We were driving from Florida to Houston and needed to empty our 26 ft. Uhaul immediately since we had no place to store or belongings. They were great, both ladies went above and beyond to get us the storage we needed over the phone while driving across country. We got there straight from Florida and signed paperwork and moved our belongings immediately!
Our unit was satisfactory and dry even in Harvey. Staff was customer-oriented and friendly.
I did write a review on FB, but I will again. Upon arriving, the lady helping us was very sweet and welcoming. Prices are affordable and the space size is great. Facitliy is climate controlled and clean. Thank you for making my first storage place a good experience. Icetearose

I really appreciate the service I received at this location as well as the Beamer location that directed me here. Brenda -at the Beamer location- was very welcoming and made it hard to leave her. I was tempted to rent a larger unit just so I could stay with her. Jeanette at the Blackhawk location was swift and efficient. I'd come in the day before and started a transition with another employee. Jeanette picked up where we left off with no problems. She was very informative and helpful. I am confident that my things will be well secured here.
