Cheap Storage Units in St. Louis at 722 South Vandeventer Avenue

The customer service was great, and the facility was very clean. The location of the storage space required going up stairs (no elevator). However, the price of the storage is unbeatable

I did not expect the extra costs! That $29 a month turned into almost $60 a month lots of hidden fees and you only allowe to buy thier $30 locks

I've been at this Life Storage location for about 6 months now. I do have a complaint about the fact that the elevator near my unit is ALWAYS out, however that is my only complaint. My first time there I was taken on a tour to look at different sized units. I opted with the 5''x10''. The 'climate controlled' unit tends to err towards whatever the temp is outside, but your belongings will be fine because it never gets too cold or hot in there. The staff have been wonderful and helpful when I lost my key they cut the lock off for me and showed me my options for purchasing a new one. You don't have to buy one of their locks, though. You are assigned an 8 digit code to both enter and exit the building, so your stuff is pretty safe here. You can drive your car inside the building, for easy loading & unloading. Overall, a great place to store you stuff.

Although the call was last minute due to plans changing, availability of what was needed was good. The individual at the toll free number sent prompt email confirmation, and the online process to complete the rental was simple and quick once available. The store was “offline” outside of business hours- that would be my only suggestion- make it available 24/7.

Setting up/signing for the unit was quick and easy.
