What is a ground floor or first floor storage unit?
A ground floor storage unit makes it easier to access and does not require the use of an elevator. However, the convenience of a first floor storage unit usually comes with a cost, and are typically more expensive.
What is elevator access or a upper floor storage unit?
An elevator access storage unit makes it a little more difficult to load and unload your storage unit and requires the use of an elevator or stair case. However, a upper floor storage unit typically will be less expensive.
What is a storage locker?
A storage locker has a reduced ceiling height between 4 to 6 feet. These storage units are good for storing small items; like suit cases, small household items, school and dormitory items, office supplies or holiday decorations. Storage lockers are usually less expensive than other units and could be the ground floor or accessed with a rolling ladder.
What is an onsite storage manager?
The manager of the storage facility actually lives in an apartment that is typically attached to the storage facility. The storage unit tenants get a feeling of security, knowing that a manager is nearby to address emergency matters or other matters that could occur after hours.
What is extended hours?
Usually storage facility office hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Extended hours could be from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm or even 24 hours a day, giving storage tenants more access to their storage unit.
What is keypad access?
A keypad entrance storage facility will control who enters and exits the facility. The tenant is provided a personal gate code and prevents non renters from entering the gated property.

This was by far the easiest rental, move-in experience I've ever had. I reserved my space online in the morning; paid for it and moved in 30 minutes later. Incredibly Affordable!!! Codeless entry (Bluetooth is brilliant); unit/lock ready. I honestly don't know what could have made it better, but it got better. I was immediately contacted, by phone (YES, an actual phone call, from an actual person) and asked if I had any questions or needed anything to help make this experience better. The representative was incredibly helpful and made the experience even better; friendly, courteous and he immediately refunded my money for the lock, when I mentioned I had my own lock. Beautiful! This experience made my morning, my whole day better. 4685 E. Tropicana Ave. Las Vegas, NV 89121
My unit was on the 3rd floor and I had a massive amount of items to store. Fortunately the place has a cart and was not so busy. Was able to move my items with little interruptions.
I came in because I was able to get twice the amount of room for the same price as half that size at the competitors.
I first gave a rating of 5 stars, but decided a 4-star rating is appropriate. The customer service/manager/office assistant was great, but after we looked at the "climate controlled" it was anything but that and we're in 100 degree weather. He did say it was going to be repaired so we'll see!
I chose #4 because in the little time I've been there I haven't had any bad experiences, "YET!!!" I am a 38 year stalking victim & my stalker a Caucasian male named Jack Lunn, ALWAYS manages to get other people to do his EVIL bidding. So at Public Storage, so good though I've had some what I would call "close calls" but I wouldn't rate them as actual intentive hostile acts as of yet. I hope this continues.
Your manager, Deb was very helpful in getting me set up with the unit that I needed. Easily the best experience that I've ever had with a self storage business.
Adequate storage and clean but extremely hard to get large moving truck thru gate and around building. Notes should be placed on the website indicating weather or not the facility is easily accessed by moving trucks.
