What is a ground floor or first floor storage unit?

A storage locker has a reduced ceiling height between 4 to 6 feet. Storage lockers are usually less expensive than other units and could be the ground floor or accessed with a rolling ladder.

What is an onsite storage manager?

The manager of the storage facility actually lives in an apartment that is typically attached to the storage facility. The storage unit tenants get a feeling of security, knowing that a manager is nearby to address emergency matters or other matters that could occur after hours.

What is extended hours?

Usually storage facility office hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Extended hours could be from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm or even 24 hours a day, giving storage tenants more access to their storage unit.

What is keypad access?

A keypad entrance storage facility will control who enters and exits the facility. The tenant is provided a personal gate code and prevents non renters from entering the gated property.

Very roomy and neat compound. Great helpful staff. The climate control units make a big difference when storing long-term. However, they increase your rental drastically almost twice a year to almost double the price. Not good for long term. This has more to do with the corporate side, and not the local employees over there.

First off I'd like to say that the service at this public storage is amazing. Monica was the highlight of my entire day making the process of checking in to my first storage ever a very pleasant experience. Honestly if she is not the boss at the Whitewood location someone needs to give her the reins.. the place is very clean, the staff is very professional. I don't know how else to gloat but if anyone needs a storage talk to monica... and my second pass through there I met amber who was also exceptional to boot .. thank you both and I can't wait to come pay my bill, really can't stand bills and I still can't wait.."-)
